Acting CEO
There are times when firms face a period of uncertainty or a series of acute challenges. The triggers for this can include: a void in leadership caused by the sudden departure of a chief executive; a paucity of leadership capability at a time of unprecedented change; a merger or de-merger; a period of transition as a firm moves towards a more corporate model of leadership and management; and financial instability caused by a combination of economic and competitive factors.
In response to this, we have formed a highly experienced team across the UK to provide the following services:
- Acting CEO and Acting COO
Dependent on the need, we will provide an acting chief executive officer or chief operating officer for a limited period of 3 - 9 months (full or part-time) to be a steady hand on the tiller, to address any difficult issues, to make any necessary improvements, and to leave the practice in a better shape having effected a seamless handover once a permanent general manager is appointed.
- Independent business review
Where the need is for a swift strategic and financial health-check, we will conduct a short, sharp analysis and appraisal of the business, providing a comprehensive set of recommendations to put the firm on a surer footing.
