Margaret Lang, Chief Executive

Margaret Lang, CEO

Margaret joined the organisation in January 2001 having spent the previous 2 years working in the field of Document and Information Management with Bowne Business Solutions in New York. During her time with Bowne revenues within her division grew by 33% and profit by 37%. Margaret was instrumental in changing the national structure and role of the client services organisation and developed an Account Management Programme and Key Account Strategy that were implemented across the US.  Her clients included 11 out of the top 13 New York Investment banks as well as many leading legal firms. Prior to joining Bowne she worked with Williams Lea in London.

Rachel McCorry, Director of Operations

Rachel McCorry, Business Development Director

Rachel joined the organisation in 2002 having acquired extensive experience during the previous eleven years in the Document Management Business. Prior to returning to the UK Rachel was vice president of operations of Conscium, in New York, the web-based document management business serving many Wall Street law firms, investment banks and corporates. It was acquired by outsourcing giants, Bowne & Co, where she was previously a European director.

Euan Lockhart, Commercial & Finance Director

Euan Lockhart, Commercial & Finance Director

Euan joined Intelligent Office in February 2008 from support services company Alfred McAlpine Business Services where he spent three and a half years, initially as Finance Director before progressing to Commercial Director & Head of Supply Chain. During his time at AMBS Euan was responsible for negotiating and securing several high profile contracts as the business grew from £250m in 2004 to £600m in 2007. Prior to AMBS Euan spent 7 years at McDonalds Restaurant in a variety of operational commercial finance roles in the UK and Europe where he was instrumental in driving change in franchise and restaurant strategy in addition to improving restaurant margins.

Hazel Kay, HR Director

Hazel joined the organisation in July 2006 from global technology services giant CSC Computer Sciences Ltd where she was Head of Employee Relations, UK employing over 10,000 staff. She has over 20 years HR experience and specific expertise in the public and private sector outsourcing environment.

Yvonne Hughes, Business Development Manager

Yvonne Hughes, Client Services Manager

Yvonne joined the organisation in 2004 from Hudson Global Resources, having worked within the Scottish operation of Melville Craig. Her role as Project Manager led to responsibility for the creation of a UK wide Best Practice intranet; a secondment to Hudson Germany to manage the recruitment of 200 consultants for Accenture and the virtual management of a number of European search and selection projects. More recently she has been responsible for establishing and managing a team to recruit for all 3 Scottish sites for NHS24, the out of hours NHS service.

Sandie Craciun, Business Development Manager

Sandie Craciun, Business Development Manager

Sandie Craciun graduated from the University of London's Queen Mary & Westfield College Commercial Law Master's programme in 1997 and has extensive experience across a number of law firms. Upon completing her LLB in London, Sandie joined Stephenson Harwood as Manager of their Document Services before moving to Herbert Smith in 2000. In her role there as Head of Services, Sandie spent 5 years spearheading a number of successful major change projects within the support structure before leaving to undertake a range of independent consultancy initiatives in major City law firms.

Paul England, Client Services Manager

Paul joined the organisation in 2003 having previously worked for Bowne & Co. the outsourcing giants. During the 6 years Paul was employed by Bowne he lived and worked in both London and New York providing document management and printing services to the world's top law firms, insurance companies and investment banks. His experience also includes the general management of the largest document print and production facility in London.

Lorraine Cameron, Client Services Manager

Lorraine joined the organisation in June 2002 having qualified with an MBA from Edinburgh University. She has over twenty years of experience in managing support service teams in professional services environments, which included Edinburgh based law firm Henderson Boyd Jackson. Lorraine has outstanding experience in file management processes and leads the company's best practice initiative.

 

Carl Austin, Client Services Manager

Carl joined us in December 2006 to help manage our growing client base in England and Wales.  He has spent the last 10 years involved in customer relationship management with responsibilities for some major blue chip companies such as HSBC and LeasePlan UK.  He also brings extensive experience of managing teams to deliver excellent standards of customer service.

Paul Speirits, Director of Procurement

Paul Speirits, Director of Procurement

Paul joined Intelligent Office in January 2007 having previously established his own procurement consultancy company. Prior to this, Paul spent over 4 years with Nestor Healthcare Group as Group Support Services Manager, responsible for a team of 10, providing the full range of support services to the Group, including procurement, facilities and fleet management. Paul’s appointment is one of a number of recent developments within the business signifying a new stage of growth and enhancing our ongoing commitment to customer service. Paul’s role will be to review our own supplier base to ensure that we are driving best value and also develop a full range of procurement services tailored to the legal sector, which will provide expert consultancy and the opportunity to reduce firms’ costs through collaborative buying.
